Systems software.
Written to hold
under load.
12+ years building systems software: embedded Linux, drivers, networking and secure IoT. I build with AI every day; my shipped Android app shows how.
What I do
Embedded Linux, drivers and firmware-level work
Linux kernel-space drivers, board bring-up and Buildroot images for industrial hardware: a PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt) driver for up to 90 W per port, SPI-timed LED drivers and FPGA logic.
Network software for industrial Ethernet
Layer 3 routing for industrial Ethernet switches: static, inter-VLAN and dynamic routing, TCAM-accelerated forwarding, BIRD integration and route lifecycle management with exponential backoff.
IoT and product security
TLS 1.3 and PKI lifecycle on constrained devices, threat modelling with OWASP Threat Dragon, SonarQube in CI/CD, and work bringing products to the cyber-security compliance required in the EU and Germany.
From the device layer into the AI layer.
Twelve years of backend and embedded work taught me where systems actually break: at the seams, under load, in the field. I am putting that same discipline into AI/ML — using it daily, learning it deliberately, and building my own tools with it rather than reading about it.
The first of those tools is live on Google Play.
